About Upstate Blood Drives

When you donate at an Upstate blood drive your donation automatically counts toward Upstate's drive goal. The cost of blood units purchased for our patient care is reduced when we meet donation goals each year.

NOW you can donate at any location, and help our patients!

How to Register

Just register on-line at: http://Donatebloodnow.org/hospitalemployee prior to your next donation.

• If you work at any Upstate location or department, register as a “hospital employee”.
• If you don’t work for Upstate*, choose “I am not a hospital employee” and select SUNY Upstate Medical University from the drop-down list of hospitals. *To support our patients as a non-employee of Upstate, you must not have donated blood in the last two years.

Once you are registered, each of your donations at any site will be credited toward the Upstate goal.
