Bridge Grants to be Accepted for 9/1/09 Deadline

The next deadline for receipt of Instramural Research Grant applications is Tuesday, December 1, 2009, but only Bridge Grants will be accepted for that deadline due to funding limitations.

Upstate Medical University’s Intramural Bridge Grant Program enables PIs who have lost extramural support to continue their research for an interim period until extramural support is re-established. Bridge grants will be the only grants accepted for consideration of funding for the 4/1/10 deadline, as well. In the Spring of 2010, the intramural funding situation will be re-evaluated. A decision to reinstate other award mechanisms (pilot and equipment grants and postdoctoral fellowships) will be made at that time.

The Intramural Bridge Research Grant Application and guidelines are available on line at the Research Development web site.
