Brief Description of Core: DLAR assists faculty, staff and students involved in research projects by providing information, training, assistance, guidance and support on the proper methods, techniques, and unique biological needs of all species used. It serves as a gateway to the Committee for the Humane Use of Animals (CHUA) regarding ethical and regulatory requirements of using animals in research.
