Research Methods & Resources
CORE faculty are members of several professional organizations, including:
CORE faculty subscribe to the ASA Ethical Guidelines for Statistical Practice. We expect all research colleagues to respect these guidelines, and invite them to review the guidelines often.
CORE faculty maintain the Upstate Medical University site license for the SPSS statistical suite of software. Users are encouraged to consult the SPSS on-line AnswerNet web site for solving technical problems. SPSS Statisticians also publish statistical solutions on their web page and we have found these to be informative and useful.
Some have found this link to an Introduction to Evidence Based Practice on the Internet useful.
The Globally Accessible Statistical Procedures initiative is designed to make statistical routines easily available via the WWW. Visit their web site for the latest in WWW statistics, but note that CORE faculty assume no responsability for this material.
