What is the purpose of the study?
To evaluate an experimental vaccine for Dengue fever, a disease that affects many parts of the developing world and parts of the United States.
Who is eligible?
1. Men and women at least 18 years and d 45 years of age at time of screening.
2. In good health as determined by medical history, physical examination.
3. Willing to come in for 13-15 visits over 120 days.
4. Have no plans to travel to the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America or southeast Asia during the month prior to screening or during the trial period.

Yes - What tests and procedures are involved?
Procedures/Tests: At screening volunteers will have a complete physical exam, urine pregnancy and urine drug test, blood draw for HIV, Hep B/C and safety labs to make sure they are eligible to participate. If eligible, the second visit will include a vaccine either in one or both arms, depending on which group they are randomized to. They will be asked to return to the clinic 13-15 times for a blood draw and a short physical exam. The doctor will ask if they have had any new symptoms or problems since the last visit and the arm will be checked for any reaction to the vaccine.

Volunteers will be paid $500-600, depending on their number of visits, for participation in the study.
