Randomized Trial of the Innovative Neurotronics WalkAide Compared to Conventional Ankle-Foot Orthosis (AFO) in Stroke Patients
What is the purpose of the study?
To establish equivalence of incremental benefit to standard of care Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO) for patients with foot drop due to stroke, and to assess the functional improvement of ambulation and improved activities of daily living.
Who is eligible?
90 days post stroke, eligible for Medicare

10 m walk, Modified Emory Functional Ambulation Profile, Gait Rite testing, Berg Balance Scale, 6 minute Walk Test, Stroke Impact Scale, Stroke Specific Quality of Life Inventory.
