What is the purpose of the study?
The purpose of this study is to compare the effects (good and/or bad) on subjects and their lymphoma of two treatments (called R-CHOP with Dose-Adjusted EPOCH-R [DA-EPOCH-R, for short]) to find out which is better.

Who is eligible?
Diagnosis of Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma-stage II, III or IV (some stage I), no prior treatment, good general health, adequate hematologic, kidney and liver function test results.

    Treatment with (R-CHOP) will last for 24 weeks (6 months). Treatment with (DA-EPOCH-R) will last fo

  • What tests and procedures are involved?
    Blood tests and urinalysis, ECG (electrocardiogram),CT Scan of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis, Other types of scans (MRI and PET) may be done, Bone marrow aspirate and biopsy, Tumor biopsy, Pregnancy test (if you are a woman of child-bearing potential), HIV test (if appropriate)
