Total Skin Irradiation

Radiation therapy to the entire skin surface is available at University Hospital. This type of treatment is offered at only a small number of clinical sites in the United States and administered for a select population of patients.

This form of radiation does not penetrate deeply beyond the skin's surface. Treatments are given two times per week over the course of several weeks and last approximately 30 minutes per session.
