Clinical Rotations

Residents typically spend 36-42 months completing required clinical rotations, and may choose to spend the remaining 6 to 12 months in:

  • Clinical research elective
  • Elective rotations including medical oncology, radiology, and pediatric oncology 
  • Other electives, such as rotations in Gamma Knife and dosimetry

Our resident physicians are assigned to two month rotations. These clinical rotations are based on the body site areas as defined by the American Board of Radiology. All ACGME minimum requirements are fulfilled at our main location. The sites include: 

  • Lung/STS
  • Lymphomas & Leukemias
  • Breast
  • Central Nervous System
  • Gynecologic
  • Gastrointestinal
  • Genitourinary
  • Head & Neck
  • Pediatrics
  • Skin
  • Soft Tissue and Bone Tumors
  • Benign Diseases

As part of the clinical on-call rotation schedule, learners work with their mentors to evaluate inpatient consults in the evenings and on weekends.
