Other SUNY Upstate Highlights

Rich Study Environment

Course attending supervision, ample and diverse case material, and a structured lecture series are the major building blocks of our residency training program; reading and independent study are the mortar which binds these blocks together into a coherent, unified structure.

Department Library

We provide our first-year residents with a list of recommended readings in each major clinical area, to encourage them to establish good reading habits early in their training. Our departmental library also facilitates and encourages individual study.
