The Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University was established in 1949 and offers a complete four-year training program for a complement of 24 Diagnostic Radiology residents. The faculty of 35 attending radiologists provides closely supervised in-depth training in all aspects of Diagnostic Radiology. The majority of resident training takes place at the University Hospital of SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Our faculty and staff are deeply committed to providing the highest quality patient care and resident education possible. We firmly believe that these goals are not only compatible, but also complementary. The success of our program is manifested by our residents’ performance on the Core and Certifying Board Examinations and by the ease with which they are able to obtain desirable fellowships, academic or private practice positions.
Thank you for your interest in our program!
