SUNY Upstate Medical University President Gregory L. Eastwood, MD, holds a $2 million check from B. Thomas Golisano, representing Golisano's first payment toward his $6 million pledge to the Golisano Children's Hospital. The gala was attended by nearly 1,000 people and raised more than $330,000 for pediatric services at University Hospital, and student scholarships for SUNY Upstate colleges of Graduate Studies, Health Professions, Medicine and Nursing.
