Medical student Samantha Jones MS II discusses marrow donation with Paula Miller, volunteer ambassador for the National Marrow Donor Program and executive director of the William G. Pomeroy Foundation. Jones was one of 35 people who registered as a donor at the marrow donor drive in Weiskotten Hall on February 11. SUNY Upstate’s marrow donor drive was held in conjunction with the Annual Sarah Loguen Fraser Day and in memory of Eunique Darby and Edward Swain, two patients from our Waters Center for Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders.
