She conducts forensic evaluations for courts including evaluations for Competence to Stand Trial and Assisted Outpatient Treatment. Her lecture series includes Forensic Ethics, Sexual Harassment, Right to Treatment and Right to Refuse Treatment.Research InterestsResearch interests include Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Vicarious Traumatization, Sexual Harassment in the workplace, Homicide-Suicide, and Competence to act as ones own attorney.Additional InformationDr. Leonard received the Richard Rosner Award for Best Paper by a Forensic Psychiatry or Forensic Psychology Fellow from the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. The topic was: "Work environment attitudes among correctional psychiatrists". She presented as part of a panel at the Annual Meetings of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law on matters of Mass Suicide and Vicarious Traumatization in the Workplace.
