A graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Dr. Chlebowski completed residency in Anesthesiology at Yale New Haven Hospital and was Board Certified in Anesthesiology. After completing a General Psychiatry residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University with a focus in psychodynamic psychotherapy for patients with borderline personality disorder, she joined the Psychosomatic Fellowship at SUNY Upstate. Dr. Chlebowski will begin the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at SUNY Upstate next year. Her clinical and research interests include adults with borderline personality disorder, veterans with PTSD, and adolescents.
Dr. Mahmud is an international medical graduate from Bangladesh. After completing a Masters in Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, he completed the general psychiatry residency program at MCG in Augusta. Currently, Dr. Mahmud is pursuing a fellowship in psychosomatic medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University. His research interests include Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, particularly, utilization of 2-Deoxyglucose autoradiography and in situ hybridization technique to characterize neuronal activity levels and control mechanisms in cortico-striateo-thalamic pathways.
