Outpatient Comprehensive Stroke Program

University Hospital offers a comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation program for individuals who have suffered a stroke.

Services are provided by an interdisciplinary team including occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, neuropsychologists, vocational therapist and physicians. University Hospital has the most updated equipment and treatment techniques.

The primary goal of our rehabilitation program is to maximize the individual's functional independence. Programs are based on individual needs and goals. Stroke education related to cognition and communication, physical mobility, and life independence is an integral part of the comprehensive program.

A physician's referral is required for examination and treatment within this program.
