IDS Staff

The service consists of a Clinical Research Assistant and a Research Technician with the support of 28 Staff Pharmacists in a 24-hour hospital inpatient Pharmacy.

Coverage

• The service is covered by a member of the IDS during business hours:
  Monday-Friday
  7:30 to 4:30
• After-hour services for the investigationals are provided by the main pharmacy staff

All members of the pharmacy staff are aware of the studies currently being handled by the pharmacy IDS. The IDS is currently involved with the drug management of over 120 drug studies at University Hospital. The service interacts closely with hospital physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and various drug sponsors involved with clinical drug trials.
