RESEARCH ABSTRACT

Cancer Biology and Therapeutics

Research activities are focused on the development of tumor markers and targets for cancer therapy. Work is also going on to elucidate the molecular mechanisms regulating cell death and survival signaling in normal and cancer cells to better understand the processes of cancer development and progression, and to develop novel, more efficacious and less toxic anticancer agents. Research is also focused on cellular responses to genotoxic, ER and metabolic stresses.
