Accessing Care at the Perinatal Center

Information for Patients

Because of your high-risk pregnancy, your physician has recommended that you visit the Perinatal Center. Here you will have access to the most comprehensive and advanced medical care available to women with special needs during pregnancy.

Medical Records

Before your first appointment, please ask your referring physician's office to forward copies of your medical records to the Perinatal Center.

Pre-registration Information

Prior to your appointment, you will be contacted by a member of our staff who will register you as a patient of the Perinatal Center. You will be asked to provide us with your address, date of birth, and insurance coverage. Please let us know at this time if you need any assistance regarding authorizations or referrals required by your health insurance carrier.

Billing Information

Please make sure you bring all necessary insurance information, forms, and cards, so your insurance carrier can be billed directly. You will be responsible for charges not covered by your insurance.

Hours

The Perinatal Center is open 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. A physician is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Should you need to speak to a physician in an emergency, please call our office at (315) 464-4458. An answering service will assist you and connect you with a physician, if necessary.

Our patients are important to us, and each is considered a priority. Due to the nature of the care we provide, unexpected delays and emergencies may occur. Please be assured that we will do our best to limit the time you have to wait, and that you, too, will receive the attention you deserve and expect.
