Additional Information

After nine years as a Navy pilot, Dr. Reed attended medical school at Ohio State University. He completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Reed's research has included several publications on airway management, skull trephination in the acute epidural hematoma, drug interactions between nitroglycerin and sildenafil citrate in the acute coronary syndrome, and locations of cardiac arrest during the Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) Trial. Dr. Reed has a strong interest in international and expedition medicine, and has provided medical care in Antarctica, as well as on high-altitude expeditions in the Peruvian Andes. He maintains a commitment to international emergency medicine, and has worked in St. Lucia, Ghana, Northern Uganda, and South Sudan.
