Goals for Pediatric Clerkship
- Understand concepts of Growth and Child Development from birth through adolescence
- Develop communication skills which facilitate clinical interaction with children, adolescents and their families
- Develop written communication skills
- Develop competency in the physical examination of infants, children and adolescents
- Acquisition of knowledge necessary for the diagnosis and initial management of common acute and chronic illnesses
