ePED Direct is an innovative web-based system the Department of Pediatrics has developed to provide non-emergency consultation and advice on general patient management problems. The system will allow you to query our specialists with questions, which will be assigned to the most appropriate faculty member.
Our goal is to provide a comprehensive response in two business days.
If you would like to submit a non emergency question to one of our specialists, just go to the site ( https://www.upstate.edu/uha/epeddirect/) to register and obtain a password. You may want to bookmark the site and remember the password for future use.
Understand that this is a totally new undertaking for us, using a software program specifically developed and adapted for this purpose. Ultimately, our goal is to add additional features, perhaps including appointment scheduling, laboratory results checking for patients, etc. For now, though, please understand that we are in a sort of "pilot phase". You can help us enormously by providing feedback and suggestions based on your experience with the system.
