To provide the highest quality pathology and laboratory services to patients and a broad spectrum of health care providers. We:
- Are committed to provide comprehensive, high-quality, cost effective pathology services to the patients of the University Hospital and the Central New York community in a timely and efficient manner
- Pledge to teach effectively state-of-the art pathology and laboratory medicine to residents, fellows, medical students, graduate students, medical technology and cytotechnology students and other health care professionals
- Are dedicated to perform and teach basic and clinical research as a major effort in the establishment of an outstanding academic department
