Kazim R. Chohan, PhD, HCLD
Dr. Chohan received his Ph.D in Reproductive Physiology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Campus. In addition, he did a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Andrology and Embryology at the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, University of Utah School of Medicine, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dr. Chohan is the Director of the SUNY Upstate Medical University Andrology Laboratory. The laboratory provide services for fertility diagnostic tests (Semen analysis, antisperm antibodies, sperm DNA damage assessment, sperm function tests and sperm preparation for artificial insemination) in Syracuse and adjacent counties.
Dr. Chohan is certified as a High Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director in Andrology and Embryology by the American Association of Bioanalysts and a certified Andrology Laboratory Director by the State of New York Department of Health. The laboratory is CLIA accredited and certified by CAP and NYDOH.
