Get Involved!
Be an Alumni Volunteer!
Alumni volunteers join an admissions representative and represent their alma mater at college fairs and morning and evening receptions. Receptions have been held in cities including: Albany, Rochester, Utica, Watertown, Potsdam, Buffalo, Alfred and Poughkeepsie. If you would like to get involved please look at the admissions office events calendar for a date and place near you!
The admissions office is also looking for alumni who might be interested in possible involvement with our current applicant pool. This would involve phoning or emailing our current applicants to talk to them about the SUNY Upstate experience! Applicants benefit from an alumni's insight on SUNY Upstate Medical University and their reasons for choosing a career in the health field. To be a part of this experience contact the Alumni Office at nursalum@upstate.edu or (315) 464-4278
Membership
All alumni are automatically granted membership into the Nursing Alumni Association upon graduation. The Alumni Association Board of Directors is made up of those alumni that have expressed an interest in being involved in the planning and implementation of alumni activities and scholarships. Membership in the Board of Directors is by invitation only. However, if you wish to express your interest in becoming a member of the board, please email shilanda@upstate.edu or call Alicia Fereday Shiland at (315) 464-4278.

You can now make your annual gift payment through our new secure on-line site using your VISA or MasterCard credit card.
