FAQ: Can my student fees (health fee, tech fee, etc) be reimbursed through CAP?
Unfortunately, Upstate can no longer pay/reimburse for any fees associated with academic pursuits - these fees can take on many names including Student fee, Health fee, Technology fee, Activity fee, Fingerprint/Background fee, etc. For more information please go to: Accounts Payable Guidelines
FAQ: How long does it take to be reimbursed?
Reimbursements can take 6-8 weeks to be fully processed. The 6-8 weeks starts at the time the reimbursement leaves the CAP office, not at the time of submission.
FAQ: Can my membership be renewed online?
Absolutely! Online renewal is the preference for your nursing organization membership over a paper renewal.
FAQ: Can I be reimbursed if I renew a membership myself?
Yes, with the following criteria:
- We can only reimburse for a 1-year membership
- Per NYS paying legislation, all memberships must be in the individuals name and SUNY Upstate Medical University with our local address (750 E. Adams St). No individual memberships referencing the employee's home address can be reimbursed.
