Findings show that assisted listening devices can aid patients in hearing the doctor more clearly and greatly enhance privacy. Researchers say findings might encourage hospitals to consider providing such devices to older hearing-impaired patients.

A highlight of the exhibit will be the free bike helmet giveaway Sept. 3. The Upstate exhibit is in the Science and Industry Building.
