Radiothon to benefit children's cancer care

Part of the lobby of Upstate University Hospital will be transformed into a radio studio during the Radiothon for Kids, set to air Dec. 1 through 3 on Newsradio 570WSYR. The radiothon will feature interviews with Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital staff, patients and their families.

This is the second year Upstate has participated in the parade. More than 300 Upstate employees and students are veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, and close to 40 employees are active members of the guards and reserves.
