The first program of its kind in central New York, the C.A.R.E. Program provides comprehensive care for children who may have been victims of physical, sexual or emotional abuse or neglect.

"Statistics show that almost one million children are victims of substantiated abuse or neglect annually in the United States and there are more than one-thousand deaths," said Ann Botash, M.D., director of the C.A.R.E. Program. "Proceeds from the event will enable us to expand our services help raise awareness of the issue of child abuse."
