Register today for the Children's Miracle Network Run/Walk for Kids, May 2

Central New Yorkers are invited to participate in the 8th Annual University Hill Run/Walk for Kids, to benefit the Children's Miracle Network, Saturday, May 2, beginning at 10:30 a.m., at the Health Science Center's Campus Activities Building, 155 Elizabeth Blackwell Street, Syracuse. The event is sponsored by the SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse, College of Medicine, with support provided by the Syracuse Track Club.

The 3-mile Run will begin and end at the Health Science Center. The course will ascend University Hill by way of Madison Street to Thornden Park and return through the Syracuse University campus.

The 1.5 mile family fitness walk will also begin and end at the Health Science Center. The course loops through the University section.

Prizes will be awarded in the following classifications: overall male, overall female, medical student male, medical student female, and in age groups - under 20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and over 50.

The entry fee is $10 for a runner or walker, $4 for children aged 12 and under. There is a limit of $25 for a family of four or more. Proceeds from the event will benefit the children who receive their medical care at University Hospital of the Health Science Center at Syracuse and at Crouse Hospital.
