Kiwanis to Sponsor Pancake Breakfast to Benefit Children’s Miracle Network June 6 at Hotel Syracuse
Central New Yorkers are invited to the Kiwanis Ontario Division’s Pancake Breakfast Sunday, June 6, from 8 a.m. to noon in the Persian Terrace of the Radisson Plaza/Hotel Syracuse, 500 South Warren Street. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the Children’s Miracle Network. Cost is $5 per adult; $3 per child (10 and under).
The breakfast is being held during the weekend of the Children’s Miracle Network Champions Broadcast, carried locally by WIXT News Channel 9. WIXT’s Christie Casciano and Rick Gary will offer live remote coverage of the broadcast from the pancake breakfast.
In addition to the WIXT coverage, the breakfast also will offer entertainment for the entire family, including face painting, raffles and clowns for the children.
The Children’s Miracle Network is a national campaign of the Osmond Foundation to raise funds for hospitalized children. Locally, the CMN is presented by the Health Science Center Foundation at Syracuse and WIXT News Channel 9. Radio station 93Q serves as a promotional sponsor. All proceeds realized through CMN fundraising efforts, including the broadcast are placed in the Central New York Children’s Health Fund to benefit the children who receive care at University and Crouse hospitals.
For more information about the pancake breakfast or about Children’s Miracle Network, call the Children’s Miracle Network office at (315) 464-4416.
