Letters from home: Patients respond to Doctors’ Day celebration
In a special nod to National Doctors’ Day, March 30, more than 400 handwritten thank-you notes from patients all across Upstate New York will be delivered to physicians at Upstate University Hospital.

Beads of Courage 2012
The Beads of Courage Program helps patients at Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital's Center for Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders document and share their journey through the maze of childhood illness and treatment. Each bead represents a very specific event, from a chemotherapy treatment to a pet therapy visit to a needle stick, and everything in between. Every Beads of Courage strand is unique. The Southern Tier office of Upstate's Occupational Health Clinical Health Centers has moved to a new expanded location in Binghamton. The move allows for additional clinic hours to meet the region’s growing demand for services to prevent, diagnose, and treat work-related illnesses.
