Additional Information
At the present time, with Dr's Jubelt, Mejico and Vertino, I am engaged in several clinical trials to assess the safety and efficacy of new drugs (Rituximab for PPMS, an experimental drug for pseudobulbar affect) or combination therapies for MS(Avonex + Antegren, Avonex+ methotrexate + steroids). A clinical study comparing two FDA approved drugs for RR MS (Copaxone and Rebif) is also under way. We will soon start enrolling subjects for a NIH-sponsored study comparing the combination of Avonex + Copaxone with either drug alone.
