Upstate Medical Staff Services supports the physicians and health professionals of the hospital community through professional credentialing and privileging activities, improving the quality of health care for our communities. Residents Desiring Credentials
Residents desiring credentials in Moderate Sedation must provide proof of current
ACLS or PALS certification, must view a video, document five confirmed cases
in E-Value*, and successfully complete the Moderate Sedation post-test. The
video can be viewed and the post-test taken by clicking 'Forms / Applications',
'Attending Physician Application' from the menu to the left. Resident questions
regarding requirements for Moderate Sedation should be directed to Ms.
