see Pass Criteria

**a passing grade on the NBME >62 is required for passing the course

***a score of >8/15 on the write-up is required to pass the course

Approximately 3 weeks after the final exam, the Departmental Grades Committee will meet to assign the student grade based on the composite score. Additional information, e.g. progress through the 3 month's clerkship, is considered in the final grade assignment. A committee member will meet with you to discuss your grade. You can ascertain the committee member assigned to you by:

  • Viewing the list posted outside the Medicine Office on the 6th floor of the University Hospital
  • Viewing the list posted on the door of the Clerkship secretary
  • Phoning the Clerkship secretary at 464-5380
