Academic Dishonesty

Students accused of academic dishonesty will be referred to the SUNY Upstate Medical University Campus Judicial System (per Student Code of Conduct and Related Policies in Student Handbook). Prior to the outcome of the Judicial Review Board, the student will be given a grade for the course based on the normal grading criteria for the course. If the student is found guilty of academic dishonesty by the Judicial Board, the grade will change to XF and remediation will be set by the Judicial Board. If the student is found not guilty of academic dishonesty by the Judicial Board, the initial course grade will remain.
