Tri-Institutional Research Conference

The University of Rochester hosted the Tri-institutional Research Day on Saturday May 3, 2008. This year area college students had an opportunity to learn about the MD/PhD programs at the three upstate New York Universities: University at Buffalo, University of Rochester and Upstate Medical University. The U of R invited interested students to learn about the MD/PhD programs at the three institutions by presenting recruitment materials and panel sessions. There were also opportunities for these students to ask questions of current MD/PhD students at the various institutions.

Current MD/PhD students presented their research in oral presentations or in a poster session. This was a wonderful opportunity for students to learn of the research being conducted in the upstate New York area and to become acquainted with other students who are on the same career path.
