Keeping Up with Translational ResearchIt's not too early to register for the 5th Annual Translational Research Conference - "Translating Discovery into Clinical Practice,” Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at the Genesee Grande Hotel, 1060 E. Genesee St., Syracuse, NY. This conference is jam-packed with excellent speakers, exciting topics and is a collaborative effort by SUNY campuses, UNYCoR, government, local technology interests and industry. Brochures are being mailed to past attendees and a growing distribution list. As seating is limited, send your registration in as soon as possible. There is no cost to SUNY Upstate faculty/students/staff to attend. Registration form may be faxed to 464-5386 or returned via email to: durdonk@upstate.edu. To facilitate collaboration among conference attendees and other interested persons, the Health Sciences Library and the Department of Research Administration have created this web based resource for Translational Research. Our goal is to provide current information as well as a virtual "gathering place" for Upstate investigators and researchers from collaborating organizations. Visit often to find selected journal articles, conference announcements, and highlights from the world of Translational Research. To recommend articles, conferences or highlights, please contact Kathi Durdon at the Research Administration/Clinical Trials Office. For any other comments on this page, please contact Diane Luft at the Health Sciences Library. From the Literature*Parsons PE.
