UpToDate - Online Information for Clinicians
The Health Sciences Library, on the recommendation of Upstate faculty members,
is sponsoring a free trial of an online information product called UpToDate.
UpToDate is an authoritative source for clinical information in adult primary
care and internal medicine and its subspecialties. It aims to provide practical
recommendations in a fast, convenient format for front-line clinicians, and
is comparable to getting a virtual consultation with an expert in the field.
UpToDate's 2600 physician authors provide original topic reviews, updated every
four months, on specific clinical problems, combining the best medical evidence
with the best practices of expert clinicians.
To access UpToDate, visit the Library Home Page at http://www.upstate.edu/library/ and click the UpToDate icon in the "What's New" column. After you have tried
it, please use the evaluation form provided on the web page to give us your
opinion of the product. The free trial extends through the end of August. Off
campus users must use LEAP passwords to access. For more information, call the
