John Bernard Henry, M.D. Computer Learning Center

The newly renovated John Bernard Henry MD computer learning center is located on the 2nd floor of the Health Sciences library. The learning center is for the exclusive use of Upstate Medical Students, Staff and Facility.

The new learning center consists of the following:

Three classrooms training areas
Nine group study rooms
A conference room
An open area of computers

There are a total of 77 computers available throughout the learning center. Six (6) of the computers are equipped with scanners to them to enable the patrons to create PDF documents. Each computer is equipped with:

Microsoft Office
Real player
2xAV
Internet Browsers
All necessary University application

Each of the classrooms is equipped with a projector and its dedicated printer.

Classroom must be reserved for training. If you are interested in reserving one of the classrooms for a training class please, contact the Educational Communications (EdComm) Department at 4-4860.

Each of the group study rooms has equipment that will assist in the viewing of reference materials and is available to be signed out for up to four (4) hours. If you are interested in reserving one of the group study room, contact the library services desk.
