Accessioned Books from the Geneva Medical College Library
The volumes listed below in accession number order by short title have (or verifiably once had) Geneva Medical College Library bookplates with hand-written accession numbers. They now form the core of the Geneva Collection in the Special Collections Vault, Department of Historical Collections, Health Sciences Library, SUNY Upstate Medical University.
This run is incomplete chiefly because the Syracuse University College of Medicine Library, which acquired the contents of the Geneva Medical College Library as part of the agreement to move the institution in 1872, apparently sold, traded, or otherwise withdrew most of the collection between 1872 and 1897, when it began accessioning its books and soon accessioned what it then had remaining of the Geneva books. Accession numbers for which no title could be ascertained are listed nonetheless, primarily to provide a graphic expression of how much the original collection has been depleted. There are probably some higher than the last known number listed here (811).

This is the highest Geneva Medical College Library accession number known to exist.
Some other titles in the original Geneva Medical College Library may have been accessioned, but not verifiably. Most such items are included in the Syracuse University College of Medicine Library accession books and are there indicated as having come from the Geneva Medical College Library. However, they contain no Geneva bookplates. Other such items are known to have been part of the Geneva Medical College Library collection by means of, for example, handwritten inscriptions to that effect in the books.
