Guidelines for Searching Electronic Databases
Electronic databases are used to search for information contained in journals
and books. Databases allow the user to enter terms or concepts and retrieve
related bibliographic citations, and in some cases, full text articles. The
databases available in the Health Sciences Library are produced by different
vendors and often require different search strategies. For complete search guidelines
and help, click on the Search Guide link.
