The former Kennedy Square site is a 14-acre site that has been retained by Upstate Medical University as the future home of the Central New York Biotechnology Research Center. The first phase of development will be a $20 million, 60,000 square foot facility that will house labs, office instructional and other research project space, as well as a business incubation space.

Additional acreage will be used for on-site parking and private mixed-use development.

This web site provides an overview of the redevelopment of Kennedy Square, the future site of Central New York Biotechnology Research Center. The site features an architectural rendering of the proposed two-story building, a site map, project timeline, testimony from the Kennedy Square Town Hall Meeting, held in November 2008, and other information to keep current with the project's progress.
