One month till the start of the first New Student Orientation program! Time sure flies by! Please make sure to review the information below - schedules, deadline dates, etc for your upcoming New Student Orientation program. Attendance at your new student orientation program is very important to your success at Upstate Medical University.  Please make sure that the appropriate dates are placed on your calendar. More information will be periodically included on this page - don't forget to stop back regularly! If at any point you have questions, don't hesitate to give a call or send an email!

The following are a list of upcoming New Student Orientation Sessions!

Session I:  June 6 – 8, 2012: Students in the College of Graduate Studies Summer Lab Rotations and MD/PhD programs; students in the College of Health Professions Doctor of Physical Therapy and Physician’s Assistants programs; students in the College of Medicine Summer Anatomy program and all students in the College of Nursing. Please also review the Session I Orientation Booklet.

Session II:  August 8 – 12, 2012: All students in the College of Medicine, MD program, who did not attend Session I.

Session III:  August 22 – 26, 2012: All students in the College of Graduate Studies who did not attend Session I, students in the College of Health Professions Cardiovascular Perfusion, Medical Imaging Sciences, Medical Technology, Radiation Therapy and Respiratory Therapy programs; students in the College of Medicine Masters in Public Health program and all students in the College of Nursing who did not attend Session I.

Session I:  June 6 – 8, 2012 Schedule and Orientation Information Booklet
Important dates to remember - for students attending NSO Session I: Submit all required health forms by May 4; submit picture for student ID by May 11; submit all official college transcripts by June 1.

Session II:  August 8 – 12, 2012 Schedule
Important dates to remember - for students attending NSO Session II: Submit all required health forms by July 2; submit picture for student ID by July 11; submit all official college transcripts by August 1.

Session III:  August 22 – 26, 2012 Schedule
Important dates to remember - for students attending NSO Session III: Submit all required health forms by July 18; submit picture for student ID by July 25; submit all official college transcripts by August 17.

• College of Nursing White Coat Ceremony: Wednesday, August 22 at 4:00pm, 9th Floor Auditorium, Weiskotten Hall
• College of Health Professions White Coat Ceremony: Wednesday, August 29 at 5:00pm, Goldstein Auditorium, Schine Student Center, SU Campus
