Information Systems

My Upstate: (formally the Integrated Student Information System – ISIS) provides an administrative suite of student information, financial aid, and financial information in a single database.

Horizon Business Insight (HBI): is a reporting system for managers and administrators to generate financial and patient reports for analysis.

Lawson: The Lawson system is used by the Hospital for Lawson Materials management, web requisitioning and electronic data interchange. The UMAS practice groups use Lawson for general ledger and accounts payable information.

Misys Healthcare: The Misys Healthcare application (formerly Medic) is used for patient scheduling and billing by the Medical Service Groups (MSG) in the UMAS practices. The system is used for scheduling outpatient visits in University Hospital clinics.

Campus Web Technology provides support for developing and maintaining campus websites.

Clinical Data Services is responsible for the management of information contained in the patient's medical record. The department provides services that are essential to patient care, reimbursement, hospital accreditation, risk management, staff training, and research.
