Text File Format for Video/Media Captioning

E-mail Print
Use the following criteria when supplying a file for captioning for quickest turnaround.
  • The file should not contain any other text or formatting except for what is in the media file.
  • The text must be contained in simple paragraphs and not be contained in tables or other layout formatting.
  • The text must flow in the same order as heard in the media file.
  • Use Word if possible.

Fix for When a Menu is Blocked by a Flash Graphic

If a Flash graphic gets in the way of a menu dropdown action, add

name="wmode" value="opaque" to each tag used to display the Flash as shown below.

<param name="wmode" value="opaque" />
