Department Services
Emergency maintenance and scheduled inspection services to all medical equipment used in University Hospital.
- In-house maintenance support and management of all service contracts for medical equipment and systems
Newly acquired, rental or on-loan medical devices and systems:
- Inspects all, prior to their use in patient care
- Enters into UH Medical Equipment Maintenance database for: inventory management; inspection scheduling; and maintenance records
Consultation and planning for pre-purchase technology assessment and assistance with identifying vendors.
