Child Care Center and Other Child Care Options

Choosing reliable and high quality child care is one of the most important decisions your family will make. It is important to look at all options to find what’s best for your child. You will want to compare quality, hours, location and price.

At SUNY Upstate Medical University, we are fortunate to have an excellent Child Care Center that serves the families of our employees and students. The Center accepts children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age.

The Child Care Center offers care for 66 children and is open Monday to Friday, from 6:45 am to 5:30 pm. The main building is located at 618 Irving Avenue with some children participating at Jacobsen Hall, first floor (preschool). We are currently developing plans to expand our Center to serve a larger number of children in newly renovated space.
