Educational Benefits for NYSCOPBA Employees

2010-2011 tuition reimbursement for NYSCOPBA-represented employees is available. Funding for the program is provided by Article 13.1 of the April 30, 2009 Interest Arbitration Award and the negotiated agreement between the State of New York and NYSCOPBA.

Unit members are eligible for tuition reimbursement up to $1,200 for fiscal year April 1, 2010 - March 31, 2011. The guidelines outline retroactive payment allowances for the Award period. Beginning April 1, 2010, the book reimbursement was raised from $200 to $250 for mandatory-course reading material. Program funds have been re-appropriated and are available.
