BLACKBOARD online courseware system provides both mandatory and optional training modules for Upstate staff. New employees will receive their Blackboard username/password via interoffice mail.

GOER Training

Governor’s Office of Employee Relations (GOER) This website provides state employees a number of online learning modules covering topics relevant in our workplace.

Skillsoft E-Learning

Skillsoft E-Learning is available to all Upstate employees and is a great resource for improving your computer skills as well as professional/personal development.

  (Access time accruals, payroll, and training information)
  This material also is sent through inter-office mail to employees after one month of employment, along with their username/password.

SUNY Center for Professional Development

Located under the Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the SUNY Center for Professional Development creates and delivers customized programs for skill and knowledge development in various technical, and teaching and learning areas.
